Chanel Anastasie Hennessy is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work explores grief, longing, love, and emotional repair through poetry, prose, and visual storytelling. She began her creative journey living between California and Montreal, and has continued to document life while traveling through Israel, Romania, Morocco, Paris, Italy, and across the United States. As a photographer she works across film and digital, with her work included in group exhibitions at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography and in the internationally recognized New York State of Mind exhibition presented by TheStreetSoup in Milan, alongside street photography icon Richard Sandler. Her production credits include work with National Geographic and Love Machine Films. She is part of a creative collective founded by Mary-Louise Parker and Nikki Varhely Gillingham that champions global artists and social causes.
